Lake Somerville - January 2011

The Camping Friends group had a great weekend at Lake Somerville State Park. Friday night we gathered by the fire to visit and catch up with each other. Saturday morning started with a potluck breakfast. Some played poker (I think) in the afternoon. I brought a new game (Fast Track) but never could get anyone to play with me. The weather was nice and the afternoon was enjoyable. Already time to eat again? We had a big potluck dinner with some fantastic food.

We had catered meals at the Cactus Cafe and played games every night at the Activity Center. It was a great rally!

My campsite at Thousand Trails Lake Conroe. I went back home and got the Explorer because, as Wagonmaster of the rally, I had a lot of things to haul around.
